Jennifer Vangorder-Braid

Jennifer Vangorder-Braid started riding when she was five years old. The young girl horse bug set in early and never left. She started taking dressage lessons at the age of thirteen at a local stable near Minneapolis, Minnesota. When she was sixteen, she found her passion in jumping. From there she learned of three day eventing and started training ex-racehorses. As soon as she started college, she found a working student position at a local Swedish Warmblood breeding stable.

In 2014, she traveled to Sweden to work for Ann Clemedtson and her daughters. Here they breed and train Holsteiners, Swedish Warmbloods, and Welsh Ponies for show jumping. While she was there, Jennifer trained under Annette and Catherine Clemedtson, Annika Persson, and Jan-Olof Odervall.

Since then, she has had the opportunity to ride in clinics with Dominic Schramm, Heather Salden-Kurtz, and Derek McConnell. She has also been fortunate enough to ride under Chris Underhill, Dominic Horne, Tiffany Deitchler, and Courtney Haessly.

Jennifer traveled to Ireland in 2017 to work for Derek McConnell and learn the young horse business. Derek is a professional show jumper that focuses on producing young horses from 3 year-olds up to international level.
